Submit ALL students completing or attempting to complete courses they are scheduled throughout the reporting school year with the appropriate outcome for each course. 

General Reporting Info:

  • Report students in grades PK-13 who were enrolled in courses at any time during the reporting school year including students participating in virtual instruction via such platforms as Apex or Edmentum.

    • Schools should establish local policy regarding the number of days deemed enough time a student is enrolled in a course to qualify the outcome being reported.

    • Schools should establish local policy regarding the amount of coursework completed by a student enrolled in a course to qualify the outcome begin reported.

    • IDOE allows schools a 10-day grace period from the time of a student’s enrollment to provide the student’s schedule.

    • ALL students are to be reported with a schedule even if enrolled for less than 10 days (including those students enrolled and attending for one day) with an outcome provided.

    • ALL students are to be reported with each individual course they are enrolled/attending (attempting to complete). Students are not to be reported in general course code identification for an entire day.

      • Example: Special Education students are to be reported with each individual state approved course code they are enrolled and attempting to complete. Students are not to be scheduled and reported with Basic Skills course code 0500 for the entirety of their day. Students are to be reported with English/Language Arts, Math, Science, etc.

      • Example: Students in a single classroom enrolled in virtual courses must be reported with each individual state approved course code they are enrolled and attempting to complete. Students are not to be scheduled in a single classroom setting without each individual course code. Students are to be reported with English/Language Arts, Math, Science, etc.
