On the GPS Dashboard, how is the current attendance rate is being calculated?

The attendance rate is calculated by how many students had 94% attendance rate; positive divided by absences with denominator with number of students with majority of time at your school.

Smaller schools are at a significant disadvantage when it comes to several of these indicators, especially when it comes to students who move in or out during the school year. With attendance for example, we have several who transfer in at semester but not those students are being calculated with 80+ absences. How can the GPS better reflect the story that goes along with the math?

Schools are only responsible for attendance reported by the reporting ed org. Schools are not held responsible for attendance reported at other ed orgs.

When data is based on a cohort, is that based on any students who have ever been in cohort or the ones that are still "counted" in the cohort?

Data is based on state cohort and based on students still in the cohort.

How will "after" graduation data be linked to our graduates?

After graduation data will be linked through use of a matching algorithm, including name, date of birth, gender, ethnicity.

What will happen to the INview site?

The INview site will be considered a legacy site and will be retired at some point. The intent for GPS is for it to be the source of school performance.
