Overview:
The purpose of this data collection is to gather student information on students who graduated with a diploma, or left school with a certificate of completion, after September 30th of the previous school year and before October 1st of the current school year. These data are collected in order to provide data for the following state statutes:

IAC 6.2-10 – Accountability Rule
IC 21-12-10 – Mitch Daniels Scholarship

This is a required collection for schools with graduating students that are:
Public schools (Traditional and Charter)
Accredited Nonpublic schools (Fully Accredited and Freeway)
Nonpublic schools participating in the Choice Scholarship program
Graduate requires following data points sent via Vendor or Template:
Reporting Timeline

General Reporting Info:
Report students completing their graduation requirements from July 1st to September 30th of the current school year for the October certification cycle.
These students will be considered a graduate for the prior school year.
Include those students ‘missed’ in the prior school year reporting.
Include those students completing their graduation requirements early (less than 8 semesters) by September 30th to be reported as an early graduate.
Report students completing their graduation requirements from October 1st to end of submission cycle of the current school year by end of submission cycle for the July certification cycle.
These students will be considered a graduate for the current school year.
Include those students ‘missed’ in the prior school year or October certification cycle.
Include those students completing their graduation requirements early (less than 8 semesters) by June 30th to be reported as an early graduate.
Report students completing their graduation requirements while attending the following:
An Alternative Education program, Adult Secondary Credit program not located in the issuing diploma high school
A Foreign Country as an Exchange Student
Attending another Educational Setting other than the issuing diploma high school
Students’ Cohort does not change according to the reporting Graduate year. Students graduating early does not change their cohort year to an earlier year. Students graduating late does not change their cohort year to a later year.
Only students with their Cohort year assigned as 2022 or prior are eligible for a waiver diploma.
