Dependencies Map:

  • Attendance data cannot be submitted if the school calendar does not exist.

    • Requires templates EdOrgCalendar_SessionGradingPeriod (Template 001) and EdOrgCalendar_Calendars (Template 002)

    • EdOrgCalendar Date

  • Attendance data cannot be submitted if the student does not exist (STN).

    • Requires student ID exists in Ed-ID which is then copied over to Data Exchange.

  • Attendance data cannot be submitted if the student does not have a relationship (enrollment) to the reporting Ed Org (school).

    • Requires template 015 StudentEnrollment_StudentSchoolAssociations.

Additional Attendance Use/Dependencies:

  • Attendance data are utilized in Membership certification; students must have positive attendance data to show enrollment for funding.

  • Attendance data are utilized with determining a Virtual Program Association in relation to membership funding.

    • Students educated virtually more than 50% of their time require a virtual program association record.

    • Impacts public/charter schools funding from 100% to 85%. This does not impact Choice Scholarship funding.
