 How are data validations run?

IDOE runs daily data validations at 4pm. It takes the rest of the day to complete.

Note: Daily data validations are paused a few days in advance of certification days to allow schools to accurately certify their data. Inside of that window, schools may request validations from IDOE inside of the Data Exchange Validation portal.

Why did IDOE's nightly validations stop?

Nightly validations are paused during certification windows to let schools certify their data accurately. Schools can still request manual validations at any time during these certification windows.

When submitting Title I info for nearby private school via the template, it says ""Authorization denied. The claim does not have any established relationships with the requested resource."" What does this mean?

This error message means that schools cannot report a school Id that does not belong under their corporation - schools must have an enrollment record with the school identified as 'false' to provide the title program data. Please note that there are no grade exceptions with DEX so students do not have to be associated to a school that serves their grade level.

I have students who are being marked as "excluded" for Title I, but we are not a Title I school. What should I do?

These students are enrolled in a program building and can therefore not be reported at that program/school ID. Students must be reported a one of the schools in the corporation that is identified as Title I. Grade level of the student does not matter. Students will need a studentSchoolAssociation (enrollment) record at the Title I school that will then allow the Title I program record to be successfully submitted.
