Summer School concerns may submitted through an IDOE support ticket. Concerns will be routed to the correct IDOE staff for assistance.
I have a senior who was expelled for the remainder of semester 2, but was given the opportunity to take/complete summer school in order to still graduate. How do I report their course completion and graduate record since they were not enrolled in our school at the end of the school year?
Schools have the relationship already identified with the enrollment record provided from the start of the school year so any remaining data needed to be provided will be allowed. Report GR data once the student has completed their graduation requirements. Summer school outcomes will be provided for either July certification (if completed and ready for reporting prior to June 30th) or October certification (if completed after July 1st or data is not ready for reporting until after July 1st).

How do we report the Method of Credit Earned when the course was taken during Summer School but for Credit Recovery?
You would report Summer School as the Method of Credit Earned. For context, Method of Credit Summer School does not require Student Section or Staff Section data. IDOE does not require Summer School enrollment, attendance, or schedules; only outcomes.
Are Districts supposed to publish Summer Course Transcript data for the students who have graduated in the 22-23 school year? If yes, could you please confirm if they should be publishing SEORA as well?
SS data can be provided for those 2023 graduates and only the SSA record is needed to create the relationship.
