The following chart may help in connecting geographic/national origin with a race to be reported in Data Exchange:

Note: On the two-part Questionnaire for Race and Ethnic Data found here, if Part 1 Ethnicity is checked “Yes; Hispanic/Latino” then the student is reported as Hispanic Ethnicity ‘True’ and Hispanic Ethnicity and of any race on their Student Record no matter what race code is selected in Part 2. Hispanic students are not reported as multiracial.
