FAQ: Title I

FAQ: Title I

  • Non-public schools do not provide the following data points: Section 504, Alternative Education, Discipline, Foreign Exchange, Foster, High Ability, Homeless/Unaccompanied Youth, Military Family, Other Personnel, Special Education Evaluation, Special Education Termination, Title I.

  • Non-public, Non-accredited schools do not report data to IDOE via Data Exchange (DEX).

  • The public school reports the data for the students who attend a private school. The students must have an association to the public school, a Student School Association (enrollment) record, with primary school equal to false.

  • You will need to submit the Student Title I Part A Program Association Template (024). In addition, the student reported must have an association to the reporting education organization via a student school association(enrollment) record (Template 015).

  • Ensure that the students are associated to a school in the Corporation that is identified as Title I.

  • Public schools can’t report the Ed Org ID of the private school. The Ed Org ID reported on the template must be Ed Org ID of one in the public school’s corporation. Note: there are no grade exceptions with Data Exchange (DEX) so students do not have to be associated to a school that serves their grade level.
