FAQ: Non-Public Schools

Public schools do not provide attendance data for students NOT enrolled AND attending. Students receiving services only do not require attendance data be provided. These students will need a student school association (enrollment) record with the primary school identified as ‘false’ and then either or both special education program record or title program record to report those services.

No, this is not a required data point for non-public schools.

Primary schools identified as 'false' for evaluation purposes does not have to provide the student address information. IDOE will pick up this information from the non-public school that is identified as primary 'true'.

Planned 'E-Learning' days where a teacher is engaged less than 50% of the day would be Virtual Planned - Asynchronous and the attendance for students will be Virtual (penalty in statute regarding the synchronous vs asynchronous is for public schools only).

Public schools do not report the private school student with CSEP for Special Education count/certification.
